Questions Answered

Therapy FAQs

Everything you need to know about our therapy services at N.E.S.T.

How do I know which therapy my child needs?
We offer a free comprehensive assessment where our team of certified specialists evaluates your child's development across communication, behavior, motor skills, and emotional wellbeing. Based on the results, we recommend a tailored therapy plan — no guesswork, just expert guidance.
How long does each therapy session last?
Standard individual sessions are 45–60 minutes. Group sessions may run 60–75 minutes. Session frequency varies by therapy type and the child's individual goals — our team will discuss the recommended schedule after the assessment.
Are your therapists certified and experienced?
Yes. All our therapists hold relevant certifications — including BCBA for ABA therapy, licensed SLPs for speech therapy, and certified OTs and PTs. Each specialist undergoes regular professional development and clinical supervision to stay current with best practices.
Can parents observe therapy sessions?
Yes, parental involvement is strongly encouraged at N.E.S.T. Depending on the therapy and your child's progress, parents may observe sessions or join parts of the session. We also hold regular parent feedback meetings to keep you fully informed.
How soon will we see progress?
Progress depends on the child's unique needs, the therapy type, and consistency of sessions. Many families notice meaningful changes within 4–8 weeks. We use data-driven tracking and share monthly progress reports so you can see exactly how your child is advancing.
Can my child receive multiple therapies simultaneously?
Absolutely. Many children benefit from a combination of therapies — for example, ABA paired with Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Our team coordinates an integrated plan so all therapists are aligned and the child receives a holistic, consistent approach across all sessions.
